My favorite thing to photograph is lightning bolts. It's challenging and more than a little dangerous, but I'm addicted to it.

I remember one night in particular when I was in high school, my friends and I were hanging out in a parking lot while a storm passed by. About every 30 seconds, cloud-to-cloud lightning would crawl across the exterior of the storm. It fascinated me, but no one else even noticed - they were busy talking about some pop-culture thing that I was oblivious to. I've always been out of tune with mainstream society though.
